Using Subdomains
Updated over a week ago

Whether you purchased a domain from Cargo, or you connected a domain purchased elsewhere, you can set up subdomains for use on your Cargo sites.

A subdomain is a domain that is part of another domain. For example: if the domain is example.com, a subdomain would be test.example.com.

To add a subdomain to one of your Cargo sites, site, open Publish Settings (in the right menu bar), click on “Add a domain” and then on “Use a subdomain”. If you have a Cargo Subscription and are using a custom domain already, connecting a subdomain to another site does not require purchasing an additional domain add-on.

To use a subdomain of a domain that is not connected to Cargo, see this article.
